Officially Certified

Received my first ever certificate. I am no longer a "nobody" but a registered citizen of Hong Kong.

After months of headache, and lots of trial and error such as Stuart, Jayson, Alistair, Lauren, William plus the assistance 40,001 baby names, I am now presented as  Calum Alistair Lam, LAW - I was named by my cousin Sheila who thinks Calum is a bad boy's name, so I guess no other name fits me more perfectly!

  1. Great name, Calum! Congratulations!

It is of Scottish and Gaelic origin. Variant of Columba (Latin) "Dove". This was popular among early Christians because the dove was a symbol of gentleness, purity, peace, and the Holy Spirit. Saint Columba was an influential sixth-century Irish missionary who founded a monastery on the Scottish island of Iona. His contemporary, Saint Columban, also Irish, was a missionary in France, Switzerland, and Italy. Calum and its variant Callum may be considered variants of Malcolm in Scotland.

God bless you and your family!
    Cheers, Auntie Stephanie
