What a horror it is to find that a Magnitude 9.0 earthquake followed by a tsunami hit Japan two weeks ago.
As i have been given a lecture about how to help people in need in the future, I felt that there is no better time that NOW.
I asked my parents to donate all my "lai see money" from Chinese New Year to help the quake relief and to my surprise they said that they had donated it already to Japan - funny really as this was news to me. Upset that I had no prior knowledge of this, I dug deeper. Turns out They further added that the money was donated to Japan prior to the earthquake (they took my money and spent it on holiday)...
How can this be? I thought the money was dedicated to my education fund but instead it went to their holiday fund.
With this fact at hand, I made them go to the cashpoint straight away, to take out money and this time for a real cause.

Superstition
If we met in person, I would say to you "don't attempt to ask", the past week my Roseola like condition got worse as predicted by my doctor. Por Por (Grandma) being Por Por decided to take the medical dictionary into her own hands and condemed modern medical science.
She was convinced that my condition is Measles and that Dr. Wu's diagnosis of Roseola is just a term to deny the case of Measles. Por Por also strongly believed that it was bad Karma around me that brought on the onset of the "Measles".
In Por Por's mind, the only way to lead me to the road of recovery is by "spiritual healing". Verberna leaves scattered in every corner of the house. It was under my pillow, on my bed, on my chair, in mummy's room, in my room , on the sofa, yes you name it, it was there. The purpose was behind it was to ward all the bad spirits away.
Mum returned home fuming, to find Joss sticks equally fuming around the house - apparently an important offering to the outer world
Now, three days on, for better or for worse or you can say for "modern medicine or for old fashioned medicine" I am now getting better, the redness has significantly reduced and I am becoming the handsome boy that i once was.

Medical Condition
I've been feeling sick of late. Had my first fever on Friday night at record temperature of 37.8 celcius, mum was on standby for another 0.2 celcius, as she would then flee to the hospital with me, but honestly - they were way too worried. My advice - "chill mum".
In another episode of "get me to the doctor quick" this morning, they found that I had red rash all over my face, neck and tummy. Suspected that my condition is Roseola, however the symptoms of very high fever over a course of days and vomiting + diarrhea did not match. Doctor said it was just my virus manifesting itself and it was certainly not measles or anything contagious. He then sent us home with a bottle of Calamine Lotion for application over affected itchy or prickly areas, as if I would be able to communicate that to my parents, I don't talk remember??
Despite all the weekend of being sick, I enjoyed my day, I was full of smiles - mainly because I captured the attention of mum, it was Sunday and she stayed in with me all day. Made loads of videos and took pictures of me and even found time for a few jokes and laughs - just like the old days!

Ocean Park
There's a famous theme park in Hong Kong called "Ocean Park", I am not entirely sure where they got the name from, though i do think it is because there are spectacular "Ocean Views" witnessed when you are high up in the cable car and all adventure rides. Or maybe because of the huge aquarium that houses an array of different types of sea creatures, fish, water life - I even saw a fish that resembled Angelina Jolie, or even the shows at the Ocean Theatre where the Whiskers the Sea Lion exercise his extraordinary skills
So if all of the above is Ocean related, then my question is, "where do "An An" and "Jia Jai"the Pandas fit into the Ocean equation"?
Well, I think this is too complicated for a 7 month old to understand.
Anyhow, here are some photos to share
